Yaama, I’m Lacey! I’m a Ngemba and Murrawarri Woman, born and raised in Brewarrina, home of Baiame’s Ngunnhu (The Fish Traps). I’ve been running dance groups in Bre for over 7 years and currently began facilitating language lessons.

While always focusing on community relationships and leadership, I’ve worked across many industries such as education, hospitality, family support and the performing arts. Also having experience in project managing Cultural camps and collaborating with elders and language sharers. I’m a huge advocate for our women and youth so I understand the importance of passing down Cultural practices to empower their sense of belonging and self-esteem and supporting their overall well-being.
